Sell Electronic Gift Certificates on your CCP Site

If you want your customers to be able to purchase gift certificates to your CCP on-line store for their family and friends, this module is the solution. Here's how it works:

With this module you can list a gift certificate product for sale on your site. You set a minimum gift certificate amount (maybe $5, maybe $20). The customer clicks on the gift certificate like any other product, then enters the dollar amount they want to buy and adds it to their cart. When they complete the order a gift certficate code is created and optionally emailed to the person the gift certificate is being purchased for (based on whether or not the customer checks that option).

The gift certificate code is also emailed to the purchaser so they can send it to their friend, write it on a card, or even on a paper gift certificate. You (or we) can create an image that is a "blank" gift certificate with your store name, URL, logos, etc. and a space to fill in the gift certificate code and amount. The email to the purchaser can include a link to that blank gift certificate which they can print and fill in. You could also link to the blank gift certificate on the product page so buyers can see how cool it will look if they buy it.

The codes are secure, meaning they contain random digits so they can't be guessed or counterfeited without great effort. The entire gift certificate does not have to be used on one order, the leftover balance will remain and can be used later.
